Import Multiple Photos and Multiple Layers
Open All Your Photos From Cameras and Scanners
You can open all your photos and images directly from camera memory cards, scanners, or hard drives. You can also drop them from other application such as Windows Explorer into Image Broadway. It is always convenient to see thumbnails in the toolbox tray. Click on the one you want to make adjustments to or resize. Save or rename them to the same place or in a different folder.

Compare and Edit Photos Side-By-Side
Multiple Panels Editing
If you have two or more similar photos, you can compare them side by side to see which one you like better. Or, while you’re editing a photo, you can compare the edited version with the original to see if you want to keep the changes. Image Broadway 6 comes with the multiple panels option in horizontal or vertical views. You can choose layout based on the orientation of photos. You can also move photo using menu command or drag and drop it from one panel to another.

Start with the Color filters and experiment with them. Like the B/W look? Try Classic B/W for its elegant look. Try Classic Film or Classic Red for bright and film like photos. For portraits, try Classic Portrait to bring out the rich skin tones. Try Warm, Cool, Pastel, Nature, Icy, Creamy, Hazy, Summer, or Soft to achieve a wide variety of artistic looks. Want some fun; you can try Glass, Spherize, Wave, Pinch, Twirl, or Warp. Try Photography filters such as Cross Process for high contrast and unusual colors, Old Polaroid for orange and pick tint in the center, Holga Black and White for dark blue undertone, Rainbow Gradient for modern and fun, Vintage, Lomo effect, Vignette, Velvia Saturation, the possibilities are endless. Some of filters create adjustment layers, you can mix, experiment, and preview. Finish with Auto Sharpen, Selective Sharpen, or Smart Sharpen before you share them.

Retouch the skin just the way you want it.
If you are looking for tools to retouch or smooth skin for portrait works, there are several new tools in Image Broadway Portable that can help you. If you just want to fix one or two blemishes, you can use the Heal tool to blend the blemishes with neighboring pixels based on the texture of the selected source area. Otherwise, use Wavelet Decompose to selectively smooth out certain types of imperfection. Wavelet Decompose produces multiple layers with different sizes of details on each of them and a final residual layer with all the rest of the information. You can pick and choose which layers you want to include in reconstructing the final images. This means you can suppress certain scales of details to contribute to the final image.

Maximize the potential of your image.
Sometimes you cannot use flash because the solemnity of the occasion. Your photos are too dark because of underexposure. Or your photos are washed out because of too much sun or snow. With Image Broadway 6, you can use the new Highlights and Shadows tool to lift dark shadow areas and recover blown overexposure highlights. The Highlights and Shadows tool combines several advanced technologies into simple, powerful sliders for shadows, highlights, and mid-tones adjustments. You can not only adjust the amount of lighten or darken, but also control the range of shadow or highlight tones that will be adjusted.

Refine your shots faster than ever.
Auto Color, Levels, Gamma, and Local Contrast tools are built in the new Image Broadway 6. Auto Color, Gamma, and Level tools analyze your images and determine the correct color balance, exposure, highlights, and shadows. Then, apply those adjustments to each channel and each pixel in the image. Auto Local Contrast stretches the color contrast on the edges instead of the whole image.

Create a true-to-life photo just like wide-angle snapshot.
If you don’t have a wide-angle camera, use this Panorama tool to create a photo just the same as wide-angle snapshot. First take a group pictures that you want to put together as a panorama. Load them all into Image Broadway 6 with the Open as Layers command. Use the Panorama tool with the photos in the sequence you want. As shown in the sample picture, there are 5 layers of photos to form; the bottom picture is the panorama.

Create a collage.
Load all photos into Image Broadway 6 with the Open as Layers command. Use the Collage tool with the photos in the sequence you want. As shown in the sample picture, the bottom picture is the collage of 10 photos.

Easily fix your building shot.
If you camera is not parallel to the subject, such as a building especially a tall building, you will get a building that looks like tilted or is falling backward. To correct that, select the Perspective Correction tool and drag the corner handles to adjust the grids to be parallel to the building as shown in the sample picture. It is easy and fast to make any corrections.

Fix crooked pictures fast.
If you have pictures that were taken with the camera tilted or scanned at an angle, you can use the Straighten tool to fix them. Rotate the grid line to be parallel to the horizontal line as in the sample picture and click OK. Image Broadway 6 will straighten the crooked pictures for you.

Effective resizing.
Scale images using geometry constraints while taking into account image contents, as its name implies, in both reduction and expansion. Select the tool and drag one of the handles to rescale the object.

Add stunning text to your photo.
There are several new features to add stunning text to your photo. You can make your text following a shape, a line, or any path that you designe. With the help of layer styles, you can make them as 3D, halo, shadow, color, gradient, and pattern filled text. In addition, you can also use text to create watermark or caption on your photos in a batch.

Automate photo processing.
You can run multiple filters automatically. You can also apply multiple filters and commands to multiple images. There are filters, adjust/enhance commands, scale, crop, and rotate commands that you can choose from. You can select multiple commands and put them into a prederred sequence, run it and it will automatically save the images after they are processed.
