Portable Ultimate Vocal Remover GUI v5.6.0 (x64)
This application uses state-of-the-art source separation models to remove vocals from audio files. UVR’s core developers trained all of the models provided in this package (except for the Demucs v3 and v4 4-stem models). The program is a shell for neural network models designed to work with a mix and extract audio tracks from it. The program extracts vocals from the mix, and also divides the mix into tracks (drum section, bass, keys, vocals, guitar, etc.). Multi-track splitting is available on Demucs models!
Key Features
- AI-Powered Separation: UVR leverages state-of-the-art AI models to achieve high-quality vocal separation. It supports multiple AI architectures, including VR-Architecture, MDX-Net, and Demucs, each offering unique strengths in processing audio.
- Multi-Platform Support: The software is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, ensuring broad accessibility. Users can download the appropriate version from the official GitHub repository.
- User-Friendly Interface: UVR features a straightforward interface that simplifies the process of audio separation. Users can easily select input and output files, choose processing methods, and adjust settings to suit their needs.
- Customizable Settings: The software provides a range of settings to fine-tune the separation process. Users can adjust parameters such as window size, segment size, overlap, and aggression levels to optimize results for different types of audio.
- Ensemble Mode: This mode allows users to combine multiple AI models to enhance the quality of the separated audio. By leveraging the strengths of different models, Ensemble Mode can produce superior results.
- GPU Acceleration: UVR supports GPU acceleration, significantly speeding up the processing time. While it can run on CPUs, using a compatible GPU, such as an NVIDIA RTX 1060 or higher, can greatly enhance performance.
- Open Source and Free: As an open-source project, UVR is free to use and continuously improved by a community of developers. Users can contribute to its development or customize the software to meet their specific needs.
Use Cases
- Music Production: Producers can use UVR to isolate vocals or instruments for remixing, sampling, or creating karaoke tracks.
- DJing: DJs can create custom mixes by removing vocals or isolating beats and instrumentals.
- Audio Restoration: UVR can help in restoring old recordings by isolating and enhancing specific elements.
